Network problem can anyone help?

I have dual operating system (Linux %26amp; Windows Xp) in my system. In Linux Os there is no problem with the network. It is working fine. In Windows Os Network is not working. I am using separate ip address for all the machines in my network. My proxy address is also correct. When I open network connections it shows Connected. But there is no packet sending and receiving. I cannot ping the system with other system. I checked firewall also.

If I open any application in my system mouse freeze for a while and starts working. What may be the problem?

Network problem can anyone help?
If the other OS (Linux) can work properly so there are no hardware problem.

IP address should be good as it works previously before.

You can try using DHCP for your windows and you should can't even get a private IP (169.165 range) and all you get is 0.0.0.0 than you should tried WinSockFix and LSPfix.
