Network problem?!?!?

i have ADSL internet connection using an external modem. every couple of minutes an error apears in my monitor's screen saying "there is an IP address problem with another system on the network". and i clearly cant send or recieve any data.sometimes i even get disconnected without even knowing what is wrong with my system.i dont know what is wrong with my networks, i realized there is a hidden network in my networks and its name is "RAS Async Adapter". i dont know how to uninstall it.whenever i click on uninstall a message shows up and says it is required to boot up the computer.

any suggestions how to uninstall it or solve my network problem?

Network problem?!?!?
The problem maybe is you have another computer or device with the same IP adress (suppose you use static IP).

change one of them in that case.

When it says "reboot" do it.

Te RAS async adapter is software a program if you dont need uninstall it, read here

http://www.soft32.com/Download/Free/RAS_...

maybe you can remove it with add/remove program , add/remove is found in Controlpanel.

Good luck.
Reply:If you have more than one computer on the connection this can cause your problem. The each need a different address. Using a modem, you will always get this when using more than 1 machine, you need a router to connect multiple machines. Always have all the machines set to obtain automatic tcp/ip configuration.
