Network, XP?

Can I have two networks??

We already have a network (school : registrar, library etc..), can I create another network between two PCs (inside the library) without disconnecting to the main network?

How?

Network, XP?
Place a second NIC in both PC's to form a new network

you can even bridge the two networks
Reply:The only reason I can imagine why you would want to do that is for security reasons. In that case you are best off creating a private network for those two computers behind a firewall.
Reply:i am not up to speed in this stuff but i guess you need a router type device. Instead of connecting the router to a phone line, the router will need a ethernet output that can connect to the main net.
