Different ethernet cable
Release/Renew LAN adapter
Uninstalled(not just disabled) wireless adapter
Cleared DNS cache
Restarted computer
Pinged localhost successfully
Rebooted in safe mode with networking
Disabled anti-virus software
Disabled windows firewall
Took computer to another location (This worked, but doesn't mean anything, since internet turns on sporadically at home for varying amounts of time)
Checked proxy settings
Made LAN settings static (and tried different IP addresses on same network)
Checked to make sure I'm not being blocked by network
Pinged Cisco (Sometimes it can't resolve host name and sometimes it resovles host name, but doesn't get a response. In the case where it can't get a response, I think it's my network or remote that blocks that kind of traffic)
TRACERT Cisco(Sometimes it can't resolve host, sometimes it fails after hitting last point in my network, and others it seems to get all the way to Cisco)
Windows System Restore
No Network Connectivity - My hardware or the network I'm on? I've tried:?
Try off your router follow by modem at the main power point. Wait for 1 min....ok, switch on your modem, wait till lights stable...ok, swicth on your router. Try to surf...
Cheers!
Reply:It can be caused by the DNS server that have problems to resolve names, try to use a static DNS server
try one of public DNS servers :
66.235.251.147
66.235.251.134
131.193.178.160
202.12.27.33
Reply:the router is shot?
