Network design?

you as a network consultant work with Star Electronics to help them select cabling and implement a network in two buildings. Star Electronics is a company that employs 241 people to make specialized electronic components for radios, TVs and computers. They are planning to install a network to join computer user in two single-story buildings. Building 1 has 121 computers that will be networked and second building has 120. Create a network diagram to help illustrate this recommendation. There are 2 type of network diagram which is logical and physical design...pls help me..asap!

Network design?
Definately a star design, which is mostly used today. But the pain part is the subnetting. All logical networks are considered on a bus. As for each subnet, a normal class C subnet (255.255.255.0) can take 254 hosts. So that would work just fine.
Reply:Go with a bus-star hybrid, with the two segments seeing each other on a fiber optic bus backbone and each segment then as independent stars.





Beyond that, you need to do your homework yourself.
